Redfish Bite Staying Strong Across Galveston Bay
West Bay - Galveston, TX
The action around Galveston Bay has been steady, with Redfish leading the way this week. Anglers have been finding good numbers along shallow flats and marsh edges, especially during early morning and late afternoon tides. Live mullet and shrimp have been producing consistent bites, while artificial lures like soft plastics and topwaters are getting attention when the wind settles.
Most catches have been solid slot Reds between 22 and 26 inches, with a few overs mixed in. Water clarity has improved across the bay, making sight casting possible in several areas. Drum and Sheepshead are also showing up near structure, giving anglers a variety of action.
With mild weather and cooperative tides, now’s a great time to book a trip with Texas Redfish Company and make the most of the Redfish bite before the next cold front moves through.
